QuadPlay™ Media has made its Content Security and DRM solution, the complete content security framework. The content is encrypted immediately after encoding and is stored on a secured file system. It can be decoded only with the QuadPlay™ Media QuadPlayer™ Set Top Box as part of a totally secure session.

Secure File System: QuadPlay™ Media has developed a dedicated, secure file system for storing the content, based on industry-standard algorithms.
Unique Codecs: QuadPlay™ Media uses a very specialised and application-specific, dedicated codec to create a system that is both futuristic and resource friendly. The codec has been designed to significantly optimise performance and compression efficiency compared with other regularly used codecs.
Content Encryption: Encoded content is encrypted before storage, courtesy of a powerful encryption tool that is used by the US Department of Defense for its communication needs.
Tightly Integrated Session Management: This is a vital element of any digital multimedia content distribution solution and QuadPlay™ Media has therefore created a tightly integrated session management system which controls all aspects of our digital media sessions.
Payload on-the-fly Encryption: This gives the customer completely secure, end-to-end sessions as the payload is encrypted on the fly before it is sent (via Unicast or Multicast) to the STB where it is decrypted locally.
Dynamically Changing Keys in SDP And SDP key decryption over SSL: With the QuadPlay™ system, the SDP (Session Description Protocol) key is encrypted using another key which is transferred to the STB over a secure SSL connection. In this way there is no single point at which the end-to-end connection is not secure.
